Aims & Scope
We publish a multidisciplinary international scientific journal. It comprise the main areas of Earth and Planetary Sciences, from geology and mining, mineral processing, geophysics, oil and gas, geographical information system (GIS), geodesy, photogrammetry and cartography, trough water, soils, forest and marine ecosystems, as well as the main energy sections – nuclear, renewable sources, to the ecology, nano-, bio- and green-technologies. Another major theme that the journal is concerned with is our connection to the Universe – the Space as a formation of planets and the evolution of life. Really, one amazing geosciences synergy.
The journal aims are to establish a worldwide open access forum for discussing and sharing scientific theories, innovations and discoveries. The increasing amounts of data collected throughout the globe these days has ambiguous qualities. On the one hand, we witness a state of abundance of information and technological improvements, but on the other hand, all the scientific fields are so specified in their own area, that they could hardly understand and exploit each other’s achievements. We believe that the future of our planet depends on our mutual efforts and interdisciplinary co-operation. Therefore, we welcome submissions on wide range of EPS topics.
The EPS Journal Scope covers six main scientific sections:
- Science and Technologies in Geology, Exploration and Mining;
- Informatics, Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing;
- Water Resources. Forest, Marine and Ocean Ecosystems;
- Energy and Clean Technologies;
- Ecology, Economics, Education and Legislation Ecosystems;
- Nano, Bio, Green and Space - Technologies for a Sustainable Future.
